Indoor 'camping' is available for our upcoming Service Learning Weekend
(Feb 24-26th). The straw bale community room is set up for warmth and
coziness, with a double barrel wood stove, large sleeping loft, and
plenty of floor space. Although we're expecting mild days for the
upcoming weekend, if you are considering coming up, we want you to know
that you'll be warm and comfortable whether the weather is mild or

Join us for a COMPOSTING TOILET BUILDING Weekend, Friday FEBRUARY
24th-Sunday, FEBRUARY 26th in the Cuyama Valley area 
...packed with good work, learning, exploration of this beautiful spring
fed canyon, and joyful sharing with community!  
We'll be building a composting toilet system outbuilding to serve the
groups that visit Quail Springs, learning a ton about 'humanure' along
the way. This is a volunteer Service Learning Weekend for which camping
is provided and food is potluck.

directions, current gate codes, and packing list. We are about 2 hrs
from Santa Barbara, 1.25 hrs from Ventura, 1 hrs from Ojai, 2 hrs from
San Luis Obispo, 2+ hours from LA. Please bring friends/family and
carpool!
