Hi! My name is Bridget, and if you've attended one of our workshops then we’ve probably met before.
My story is probably similar to many of you. For years I followed CalEarth online before I was actually able to visit the campus. I will never forget how it felt to experience these structures in person for the first time. I often hear our visitors comment that they feel a strong connection, a sense of returning home, when standing in these structures made of earth. This was the feeling I had on my first visit. Ten years later, I still feel it when I walk around our campus.
I really hope that people will have the ability to visit this campus like I did. There is nothing like coming here. Seeing CalEarth photos online is cool, but to actually be able to stand in this space and to touch these walls and to walk around our campus is something that you just have to experience.
Until our campus re-opens, we can no longer host Open Houses and are forced to host Workshops at alternate locations. Please consider making a donation to help us re-open so that more people can experience CalEarth in-person.
