THIS Saturday . April 6th 

 

9am to 12:30  - Volunteer Work-party

12noon to 1pm - Mesa Neighborhood Exchange

 

Weeding: for all of you, and I know you're out there, who enjoy uprooting
plants that are taking up space that could be put to more productive use -
here's your big chance! Have we got weeds for you! While we're out there
pulling up weeds, we can put some thought into what could be taking their
place: fruit-bearing shrubs, ground cover, nitrogen fixers, flowering plants
to attract beneficial insects, bulbs, herbs, vines. 

 

As usual, we'll have our work-party in the morning, and then host the Mesa
Neighborhood Exchange. Please bring your surplus home-grown fruit and
veggies to share, meet up with neighbors and support the Mesa Community's
very own food forest to feed the hungry.
