[Scpg] Proposal for a Blacksmith Class - Tool Making

I am proposing a class to be taught by a blacksmith on tool making.

The idea is to start by doing a class of 6-8 people. We could do a two day for $120.

Here is a basic idea of class structure.

Survival tool making overview
Intro to testing steel for carbon content to find high carbon steel.
Exploring fuel for the forge 
Build a primitive forge and bellows system
Select stones for anvils
Heating shaping the first tools
Tempering and sharpening
Handles
Sheaths

Fist day
select simple tool to make

building a wood burning forge
selecting a stone for an anvil
carbon content of steel
hammering and shaping technique
maka a simple hook


Second day
tool shaping 
finishing
hardening and temporing


Tool ideas: Fire place set, Gardening tools, tongs, hooks, latches, knives, picks, carvers, 

We have high grade steel available, and thongs. 
Please bring -
hammer (ball peen or blacksmith hammer)
safety glasses
any scrap steel you are interested in transforming
