Water Harvesting Apprenticeship Program, August 15-24, Santa Barbara, CA
Are you passionate about rainwater and greywater
harvesting systems? Innovative? An educator? Live in the Santa Barbara
area? Do you know someone else who fits this description?

Watershed Management Group is offering a 9-day hands-on water harvesting apprenticeship training that will hone your assessment, design, implementation, and leadership skills. WMG co-founder and Sr. Program Manager, Catlow Shipek, will be the
primary course instructor. Catlow has led over 100 workshops related to
rain and grey water harvesting systems.

The apprenticeship program’s goal is to provide in-depth training in how to be project managers and educational instructors for water harvesting projects. Some of the participants of the training will become
workshop instructors for the Santa Barbara Green Living Co-op.  This is a part time position (5-10 hours/week) that uses the skills we will learn and practice during the 9-day course.  This is a great opportunity for a student or someone with some other source of income to become a leader in community building and water harvesting.
