[Scpg] SB Permaculture Guild meeting Saturday June 6 with Roy and Sri from AmpedOn2

On Saturday,
June 6, from 10-11:30 AM, at the Alpha  Resource Center ,
the Santa Barbara Permaculture Guild will host a presentation by Roy Prince and
Sri Subramanian from AmpedOn2, a community project exploring electric
two-wheelers.  Three of their projects
will be highlighted, an Electric Ninja, using an abandoned 250 cc Ninja
motorcycle, an eCortina, using a mountain bicycle, and an electric BOB Trailer,
using a BOB trailer to attach to a bicycle.  The motorcycle, bicycle, and trailer will be at the meeting for you to
see, and Roy and Sri will talk about the intention, process, and mechanics of
each of them; one of them may possibly do a demo ride, but rides will NOT be
given to the public.  Don’t miss this
opportunity to find out more about this incredible local project with so much
potential (no pun intended).  This
presentation will take the place of our regular meeting on the first Tuesday of
