Santa Barbara Organic Garden Club

***Free begonias, Impatiens and other annuals for all attendees!

Newly added to the day at? 1:30 approx.? you can watch to Barn Owl Houses be installed.

Our next meeting will be Sat. May 10th at 10:00 AM at the Alpha Center
Garden.? Joseph Abid will give a demonstration of how to prepare
Opuntia (prickly pear cactus). Both the pods and the fruits are edible
and nutritious. It will also be chance to tour the Alpha gardens which
we are in the process of restoring. The meeting will be from 10 AM to
12 noon.? Everybody is invited to bring a dish for a potluck lunch.?
Afterwards we encourage you to participate in a work party to help
plant the garden.? 



We can use landscape and edible plants for the garden.



Alpha Resource Center is located at 4501 Cathedral Oaks.

The entrance looks like a driveway and is right next to a bus stop.?
Depending on which direction you are coming from you may see the tops
of the turquoise roofs of the buildings.
