[Scpg] Sustainable building/practices in Santa Barbara

Can anybody tell me what type of building is allowed in Santa Barbara County and what type of barriers there are for sustainable building?   Green roofs, straw bale, superadobe, alternative foundations, grey and black water systems, water catchment, etc?   Any restrictions on permaculture/organic farming practices?
