[Scpg] South Coast Permaculture Guild Meeting Thursday, Oct 26, at 6pm Santa Barbara

Hi Everyone-

Our next meeting will be hosted by Carol Ostroff who has generously
offered to share her garden as a meeting site, and talk about biodynamic
preparations for the garden and compost pile. Carol is the founder of the
Herb Circle, and in past days when the CEC (Community Environmental
Council) still had its beautiful garden site, was the manager of the herb
garden & green house. She is also a long time student of Hanna Kroeger,
master herbalist. Biodynamics recognizes gardens and farms as living
organisms, wow, what a concept! Please join us as Carol explains some of
the mysteries of biodynamics.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct 26, at 6pm, parking on the street
across from the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, at 1212 Mission Canyon Rd,
with someone at that point there to guide you to Carol's home. We will
have light snacks, and as usual encourage you to bring something to
share. It's the fall harvest season, a great time to share seeds, veggies
and fruit from your gardens, and other plant material.

South Coast Permaculture Guild meetings usually take place the third
Thursday of the month. We have postponed this meeting one week, as many of
our members will be attending the Bioneers Conference (www.bioneers.org) in
San Rafael, CA. We will resume our regular time in November, that meeting
will be on November 17, time and location to be announced.

Hope to see you soon-
