The Ecology of Leadership www.regenerativedesign.org/leadership
OFFERED: April - December, 2006 (see details below) from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
LOCATION: Commonweal Garden, Bolinas, CA
Instructor: James Stark and Christopher Kuntzsch
As we all face the challenges confronting the living earth, deep inside
each of us is a dream of how we could make a difference in the world. This
program is designed to creatively articulate that dream, ignite the fire
and to support you in becoming an unstoppable leader in your life, your
family, community and the world.
During this 8-month adventure together, we will explore creating a vibrant
personal leadership ecology for ourselves a set of practices, mindsets,
habits, and skills that will nurture and support you as a visionary and
leader. We will be drawing upon the wisdom of our ancestors and the people
in our contemporary world who through their leadership have brought beauty,
justice and love into our lives.
What we have learned is that leadership is a practice; a way of being, a
way of thinking, and that every one of us is capable of living a life as a
leader and a life that we love. The only obstacle to walking in the
footsteps of your personal leadership mentors is you. You get to choose.
During the program we will be exploring and composting old patterns that
hold you back from who you know yourself to be and creating new patterns
that will support the unfolding of your greatness and your inherent
capacity to make a difference.
An integral part of the program is the opportunity for you to choose and
implement a personal project that will enable you to deeply root and refine
your new leadership skills.
This program is designed for those of you who are increasingly hearing a
call to step forward as leaders, to refine your existing leadership skills
or to simply spend 8 months in a leadership circle rekindling your fire.
Alumni Leadership Circle:
Upon graduation from the program, you will assume a seat at the table of an
alumni leadership circle that will be created during the program. This
leadership round-table will be dedicated to supporting alumni in continuing
to manifest their dreams after the conclusion of the workshop series. The
Circle will provide you with accountability, and opportunities to further
develop your leadership skills and to support others in manifesting their
visions.
We warmly invite you to join us in this adventure.
