FREE SCREENING, DISCUSSION OF "THE END OF SUBURBIA "
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 7 PM

 On Saturday, February 11th at 7 pm there will be a free screening and
discussion of and The End of Suburbia, an entertaining and provocative film
that explores the American Way of Life and its prospects as global demand for
fossil fuels begins to outstrip supply.  The screening will be at the Santa
Barbara County Public Health Department Auditorium at 300 N. San Antonio Road,
off Calle Real in Santa Barbara. There is no charge for admission or parking.

This screening is part of the ongoing Fossil Free Film Festival, presented by
the Fossil-Free Landscaping Group, a coalition of horticulturists,
agriculturists, Permaculturists, landscape architects, architects, educators,
planners, community activists and others who are working to make Santa Barbara
more self-sufficient and to educate the public about effective land management
strategies for a fossil-free future.
 

Discussion will be led by Owen Dell, well-known landscape architect, educator,
activist and co-star of the CityTV show Garden Wise Guys.
