South Laguna Village Garden is a haven amongst the fast pace urban reality
of southern california. Three years ago the land was transformed from a
parking lot into what it is today, a vibrantly colored, fruit, vegetable,
flower garden where community gathers to connect to the land, learn about
sustainable living and celebrate!
Many of our programs are focused on bringing children into connection with
the rhythms of nature: incorporating planting, harvesting, composting,
music, sustainable living, group games and natural arts and crafts. South
Laguna Village Garden also hosts seasonal dinners for garden members,
hands-on workshops and afterschool/homeschool education days. Everyone is
welcome to spend time in the garden!
South Laguna Village Festival is sponsored by South Laguna Village Garden,
the South Laguna Civic Association, the Anneliese School, Wild Oats and so
many kind people who have donated their time and craft to make this
celebration a possibility!
Thank you and blessings on your path.
