A Bioregional Approach to the Los Padres National Forest:

A Lecture and Slide Presentation

Richard Handley will discuss the unique attributes of the second largest
forest
in California as exemplified by its geology, flora, fauna and cultural
history.
The Los Padres National Forest encompasses 1,754,000 acres and provides our
best
chance for preserving Southern California's biodiversity. This slide
presentation will feature beautiful images of the Los Padres plant and animal
communities and rugged geologic terrain photographed in a variety of seasons.
