Introduction to the New Urban Watershed class with Owen Dell
Saturday, June 7, 9:00 a.m. - Noon

The built landscape has become an integral, and often damaging, element of the
urban watershed. Owen will introduce you to a new concept that he calls, The
New Watershed Movement, which is the design and management of
watershed-friendly homes, landscapes and public infrastructure. This
fascinating workshop will bring you up to speed on the many ways that
landscapers, builders, homeowners, and gardeners can not only mitigate their
impact on the watershed, but how they can have a positive effect at the same
time.  Practical ideas, slides, resources, and a short video on pervious
concrete paving will be included (if time permits).
