               Lama Foundation is situated on 105 acres of high alpine 
forest in northern New Mexico, altitude 8600 feet.
                          The land is regenerating in the wake of the 
7000-acre 1996 Hondo Fire.

              Convergence participants are welcome to join in Lama's daily 
schedule of early morning silent meditation or
              yoga, afternoon classes and evening activities such as dances 
of universal peace, singing, chanting, and other
                                        forms of spiritual practice.


              Schedule of events: Days will be filled with concurrent 
workshops, classes, and
              presentations in natural building, permaculture, appropriate 
technology, and community
              building. Afternoon field trips to local natural building 
sites (donation suggested) may be
              planned for midweek. Evenings will include slide 
presentations, Dances of Universal Peace, and
              music.

              Lodging options: At Lama, yurt with beds or loft space can 
accommodate up to 15 (first
              come, first served; stipulate this arrangement on your 
registration; bring your own bedding or
              sleeping bag)... RV and tent sites on the grounds for 100 
campers. Hotels are available in Taos
              and Questa (at additional cost).

              Cost: Before May 1, $475; after May 1, $575. Children 5-16 
half price (childcare not
              provided). Per day participation is $100. Cost includes three 
vegetarian meals per day and
              on-site camping. Limited Dorm Space available for an 
additional$5 per day.

              Travel Information: The Albuquerque airport is three hours 
from the site. Carpooling and
