City of Thousand Oaks Eco Garden Gala 

        Date:   October 5th, 2002 at 9 am - 2 pm

        Location:   2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd. Courtyard of the Oaks, Thousand 
Oaks, CA

        The Eco Garden Gala will feature a compost workshop 9-11am, followed 
by demonstrations and booths from local garden clubs,
        nurseries and garden experts. Kids activities include a ladybug 
release, chia pet making and more.

        Free compost will be available (limited quantities-while supplies 
last) and the first 200 attendees will receive a
        free outdoor/garden thermometer.

        Ask the garden guru, orchid tips, beneficial insects, tree trimming 
tips and MUCH, MUCH more. 

        Hours: 
        Compost workshop 9-11am
        Exhibits, kids activities, demonstrations 11-2
        Free compost during program while supplies last 

        Admission/Fees: 
        Free to Thousand Oaks residents
