[Scpg] Starting a permaculture-oriented community in SE Ohio near Ohio University

We, my wife and I, are looking into starting a permaculture-oriented community in SE Ohio near Ohio University.  

We envision a human-scale, simpler living community on 50+ acres with private and common land which facilitates caring, helping, learning, teaching, and people producing needed goods and services. 

To bridge the gap between online chat and a new community, we are proposing to permaculturists get-acquainted weekends which feature live music, hikes, slide shows and talks on participants projects and interests, frank, open discussions on many of the issues and concerns about community life, and more.

These weekend festivals will be held at nominal rates at the Carpenter Inn and Conference Center which offers cabins, apartments, and the main inn on 250 scenic acres. 

We seek to reach people who want to make their lives a festival for a weekend at least and, perhaps, much longer.
