International Conference

DATE: Friday 23 November to Sunday 25 November, 2001.
Arrivals from 3pm Friday.

FEE: New Zealand dollars.

ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKERS
Margrit and Declan Kennedy live in an eco-village they co-founded in
Steyerberg, Lower Saxony. They run a planning office in Hanover and
Steyerberg, which has researched ecological settlements in Europe and are
part of the pioneering group of ecological architects and planners known as
'GAIA'.

Margrit Kennedy - Professor Doctor Margrit Kennedy, Dipl. Ing. MURP is and
architect with a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Ph.D in
Public and International Affairs. She has published many books and has
practised architecture and urban planning around the world. Margrit works as
a professor for Ecological Building Technologies and undertook research on
large-scale ecological settlements in Europe.

Declan Kennedy - Professor Declan Kennedy Dipl. Ing. is an Irish architect,
urban planner, permaculture designer and ecologist. He is a founder of the
Permaculture Institute of Europe and has been teaching since 1972. He is
Founding Chairman of the board of the Global Eco-village Network.
