Hopedance Magazine for events happening all over the USA especially

to Wes Roe lakinroe at silcom.com
The issue will focus on:
CITIZENSHIP, Sustaining Our Activism

global citizenry
interviews with fabulous citizens in santa barabara and south coast
??)

Non-Violent Direct Action methodologies and a critique
More about compassionate listening as a form of mediation for effective
activism
Successful activism: how does it work?
Inspiring stories of activists who can balance their personal lives with
their political lives.
The frequent motivation from going from an ordinary person to becoming a
passionate activist (self-interest, a tragic loss, concern that came from
left-field, therapy, religious/spiritual conversion, drugs, film, book,
speaker, activist???)
why we have become so
fearful/timid of authority/risks and what modalities/therapies/actions can
aid us in overcoming this challenge (did you know that speaking in public is
the number ONE fear in N. American?... not masturbation, not making enough
money, not kissing in public, not eating in public... but SPEAKING IN
PUBLIC!) How can we have a democracy if fear, alcohol, sugar, alienation,
obsessing with our looks, being overworked, watching too much TV... are
dominating our lives?
and much more... Send ideas, topics, reviews, actions, potential interviewees
to
