hey so. coasters -
if you live between SB and LA and you are signed on to only the ccpg list 
(central coast) instead of scpg (south coast), you may be missing messages 
that bioregionally relevant and are not always sent to the central coast 
list...the original idea was to be bioregionally relevant - appropriate links 
for changing/joining are in each message from the list

Matilija Canyon Creek Walk and Arundo Survey

Saturday May 12 - 9 am
Matilija Creek Trailhead, end of Matilija Rd, Ojai, CA

We will meet at the trailhead to learn about Arundo donax, an invasive 
non-native plant species found throughout Southern California.

We will walk up the creek and use data sheets and a hand-held GPS to map 
the current extent of this plant in the upper watershed.  This information 
will be used to create a map and develop an eradication plan.

Please let me know if you plan to attend so we have some idea of expected 
participation - parking is very limited, so try to carpool.
