SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES: Regional Collaboration for Transportation, 
Housing, Services, & the Environment

Wednesday, July12th
7pm-9pm
Santa Barbara Public Library's Faulkner Gallery.

A panel led by Nicholas Bollman, President of the California Center for 
Regional Leadership (CCRL), will discuss the idea of sustainable 
communities on a regional level.  The panel will focus on the issues of 
housing, transportation, economics, and the environment as they affect 
Santa Barbara County and neighboring communities.

Nicholas Bollman is former Senior Program Director for the James Irvine 
Foundation's Sustainable Communities Program.  He is a founder and current 
president of the California Center for Regional Leadership, a new statewide 
nonprofit organization that is using innovative regional strategies to 
address the state's most important challenges and opportunities.

Participating panelists include Pastor Richard Ramos (Faith Initiative), 
Bill Watkins (UCSB  Economic Forecast Project), Martin Erickson 
(Metropolitan Transit District), Tim Allison (Citizens Planning 
Foundation), Hilda Zacarias (La Casa De La Raza).  Jon Clark, Executive 
Director of the Wendy P. McCaw Foundation, will moderate.

The forum is sponsored by Citizens Planning Foundation and Community 
Environmental Council.
