Innovations in Pest Management

Hannah Beth Jackson is holding a hearing today at the County Government
Center on Innovations in Pest Management. It's part of a larger strategy
aimed at building support for funding for more IPM, BIOS, alternative pest
management strategies.

The hearing is from 10-1 in the Board of Supervisors Chamber. It features
Helliker, Dr. Jenny Broom from SAREP, Phil Phillips, a roundtable
consisting of Bob Pinkerton of Farm Bureau, Steve McIntyre of Central Coast
Vineyard Team, Jerrel Larmon from Associates Insectary, Kaz Iwamoto of
Iwamoto & Gean, and Sherri Klittich from Hansen Trust.  Also there's said
to be room for public comment afterwards.
