Partners in Progress for a Beautiful Ventura, in cooperation with Island
Packers and Friends of the Channel Islands National Park, is sponsoring
an island cleanup day on Santa Cruz Island on Sunday, May 2. Tickets
for the boat trip out to the island will be reduced from the regular
$47/person to $27 each.

The cleanup leaders will try to locate a beach on
the island where the tides have deposited trash. We'll clean up what we
find, and then there should still be ample time to hike around, eat lunch
and enjoy the island. Kids are welcome. It's a great opportunity to take a
nice trip AND do something positive for a change  ; )
