hi Cherie
thanks for your offer, The Australian Permaculture Association would have to come to India with a formal presentation bid in India in Nov/Dec 2017
The last IPC in Britain had approximately 500 attendee , the next one in India will have about 1000 projected attendance
The cost of hosting is a large undertaking the cost range from $500,000 in Britain to approximately $250,000 in India
The question would be if your site had the capacity to hold the event and whether the Australian PC Association is prepared to make a bid
Hope this answers so of your questions

>> Our information is that the International Permaculture Convergence started in Australia in 1984 and has been held regularly since that time. It is currently held every three years with the next to be held in India later in 2017 and the following IPC to be held in 2020 in Argentina. We understand that the location of the 2023 IPC will be announced at the India meeting.
>>
>> We would like to enquire if Permaculture Australia have any plans to host the 2023 IPC? If so, would you consider Cairns and the Cairns Convention Centre as the location and venue? We would be delighted to work with Permaculture Australia to lodge a bid to host the 2023 IPC if there is an interest.
>>
>> Ms Rainbow, thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
