Papercrete Workshop: 
Sunday 9/21/14, 4:00 to about 7:30 PM 
Taught by Jane Higginson, Archelonia Permaculture,  archelonia.wordpress.com 

This hands-on workshop will teach you how to turn used paper into a 
sustainable, light weight, strong, well-insulated and low cost building material. We will 
cover recipes, mixing, pouring, forming a slab, embedding an object (i.e., glass 
brick), and adaptations for other materials such as clay, and methods. There will be time for 
questions and answers. 
 
Lakeside, San Diego Co., $20 each, 
$15 each for students with current academic ID 
One work trade position available for each session –must call Jane to apply by 
Tues. 9/16/14 no later than 7 PM

The weather will be very warm, so please bring sun protection and your own 
refillable water bottle. It is recommended that you bring a long-sleeved shirt 
that you can moisten and wear to cool off. It is also recommended that you bring 
a snack. Wear work clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Participants will 
sign a liability waiver.
