Hello, 
This summer, Archelonia Ecological & Permaculture, www.archelonia.wordpress.com 
 is happy to offer a Permaculture Design Certification Course (PDC) in the San 
Diego area, with far flung field trips in southern California. The principal 
instructor, Jane Higginson, holds a Diploma of Permaculture Design and has been 
teaching PDC's since 1999 or so. The graduates of this summer PDC will receive an 
internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certificate which they can use to 
promote permaculture in professional endeavors and to later pursue a Diploma of 
Permaculture Design. The PDC will be experiential and mainly outdoors, and also 
will include lectures and discussions. As a final exercise, students will create 
and present a permaculture design for a household, farm, or community. There 
will be a free informational meeting this Sunday, June 8, 10AM-11AM at 
Silverwood Wildlife Sanctuary, 13003 Wildcat Canyon Road, Lakeside, CA 92040. 
The course begins June 14 and ends August 30, meeting two weekends per month. 
There are two work-trade positions as an alternative to paying for the course with $. For Imperial Valley 
residents, there are two full scholarships from Imperial Visions. To apply for 
work-trade or scholarships, contact Jane Higginson no later than June 10. The deadline for
