[Sdpg] How to get the LA ecovillage presenters south to San Diego? + CLT / sarvodaya for SD

Wes, Lois, Marcia,

I'd like to get San Diego in the loop for the tours and presenters
that show up at the LA ecovillage.

What should I do to make that happen?

We missed City Repair.

We'll probably miss the Small House presentation.

I'd like to have them in a venue that is a little further east. . . perhaps:

Please give me some tips!

I imagine we need a good audience, and a place for the speakers to
stay, at the least.

San Diego doesn't have an ecovillage yet, but we have things somewhat
similar to one. . . I'm focusing now on the community land trust
approach---and would like to get one house on CLT land by the end of
the year. Then we can help the activist collectives get on landtrust
land. Later maybe we can learn to restrict the land use to residents
who do not use cars (or something like that).

Rather than an ecovillage--I'm aiming for more of a San Diego
Sarvodaya movement:

But my main concern for the moment is how to get those presenters south!
