In drylands and drought-affected areas, rainwater harvesting can be an
important and vital supplement to municipal water supplies. In this
two-day workshop, participants will learn how to collect rainwater from
roofs and how to store it--in tanks, cisterns and in the soil--for home
and garden use. The majority of time will be spent hands-on installing
a roof-water catchment system and garden bioswales.
$150 includes Saturday and Sunday lunches
Limited camping available on-site for an additional fee.
