"The Art of Natural Building" (www.newsociety.com/bookid/3697) takes a
fresh look at age-old building technologies and offers a thorough overview
of materials, techniques, and resources from the leaders of the modern-day
movement.  Author/editor Joseph F. Kennedy has been at the forefront of
ecological design and construction for the past fifteen years.  He teaches
in the EcoDwelling programs at New College in California and has been a
Director of Builders Without Borders (www.builderswithoutborders.org), a
new organization dedicated to serving the underhoused of the world by
creating affordable housing with sustainable and local materials.  Books
will be available for signing by the author.

The free event is hosted by Associate Professor David Bainbridge
(http://academic.alliant.edu/bainbridge) a contributor to the book who will
share some of his experiences during the straw bale revolution, and by the
San Diego Permaculture Center, the CA South Coast Permaculture Network and
HopeDance Magazine.
