The Regenerative Collective Presents....
The First Annual Seminar on Sustainable Living.
An open public forum featuring
workshops, speakers, dinner, and celebration.
At the Regenerative Co-Op House at:
997 Bradford Street, Pomona
Saturday, February 2 2002
Learn how you can help the environment through everyday hands-on
approaches, activities and strategies.
Workshop Schedule:
2 pm: Introduction to Regenerative Philosophy
2:30: Organic Gardening and Permaculture
3 pm: Composting and Recycling
3:30: Solar Energy and Energy Conservation
4 pm: Nutrition, Vegetarian Cooking, and Vegan Living
4:30: Community Building and Greening your Neighborhood
5 pm: Local Environmental Campaigns and Political Activism
5:30: Open Discussion, Announcements, Overview
6 pm: Community-wide dinner, networking, and dialogue.
7 pm: Music, Celebration, and Food Not Bombs Fundraiser.
This event is free to all members of the public, with an optional
$5 donation to the event organization costs, food, and workshop
materials.
The event is co-sponsored by the Pomona Chapter of
Food Not Bombs, Energy Efficiency Solar Electric Solutions, and
The Regenerative Collective of Pomona.

Directions on how to get there:
From Los Angeles:
Take the 10 freeway Eastbound towards Pomona. Take the 10 freeway
until you reach Garey avenue in Pomona. Get off at Garey, and
turn right. Go down Garey for 1/2 mile. Turn Left at Alvarado
Street. Go down to the next street, Bradford and then turn right.
Find Parking. The Seminar is at 997 Bradford Street, at the
southwest corner of Bradford and Alvarado.
From Orange County:
Take the 57 Freeway northbound. Go through Diamond Bar, and stay
on the 57 north. Head north and then take the 10 freeway
eastbound. Go down the 10 freeway for 5 miles, and get off at
Garey Avenue. Turn right. Go down 1/2 a mile to Alvarado. Turn
Left at Alvarado. Turn right onto Bradford Street. 997 Bradford
From the Inland Empire. Take the 10 freeway westbound. Get off in
Pomona at Towne Avenue. Turn Left onto Towne. Go down Towne Ave.
for 1/2 a mile. Turn right at Alvarado Street. Go down Alvarado
Street for 1/2 a mile. Turn Left at Bradford Street. Find
Parking. Seminars at 997 Bradford Street.
