The Straw Bale building at the Cal Poly Student Experimental Farm (in SLO) is
a local example of natural, affordable building at its best. Built from
reclaimed materials, sandbags, cob, bamboo, and organic wheat straw, the
building was constructed for approximately $3 per square foot. Come learn
about natural plasters by participating in a community lime plastering
workshop on Saturday, May 12 from 10 to 3. Join us for this work party and
