1st Quarterly Southern California Permaculture unConference
Saturday and Sunday July 14th-15th 2012

The site is a private ranch that was the first farm in Topanga Canyon. For the last decade it has been an international healing center and as of January 2012 Gaian Mind Institute has partnered with the ranch to help establish a food forest and permaculture research laboratory/demonstration site.

The unconference will include but not be limited to: 

plastic-free fresh food potlucks featuring sprout soup & and home brew (byo beverages/dishes/utensils), games, contests,  prizes, raffles, swap meet,live music, dance party, 
scheduled and spontaneous workshops, permaculture design training & 
team building exercises, hikes, yoga, foraging, wildcrafting, primitive 
skills, self-defense & preparedness training, and more!

An 
unconference is a self-organizing event that allows the attendees to 
dynamically and organically create presentation/workshop topics and 
convene sessions at one of many session areas at a site.
