Fantastic opportunity for the right folks!
"There is one, and only one, solution, and we have almost no time to try it. We
must turn all our resources to repairing the natural world, and train all our
young people to help. They want to.
We need to give them this last chance to create forests, soils, clean waters,
clean energies, secure communities, stable regions, and to know how to do it from
hands-on experience"
"...the greatest change we need to make is from consumption to production, even
if on a small scale, in our own gardens. If only 10% of us do this, there is
enough for everyone.
Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the
very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and
shelter."
- Bill Mollison

California Works Alliance: Jobs Through Recycling and Resource Management
Become part of one of the largest and most rapidly growing industries in America
– Recycling and Resource Management. The Recycling industry is larger than the
auto industry. As more cities and businesses develop sustainability and zero
waste policies, they need trained personnel to properly manage their resources
and programs. Resource management enables business to become more efficient,
increase their bottom line, improve community relations and decreased their
financial and environmental risks.
By increasing our recycling, composting and reuse industries, the demand for
qualified staff is high. Resource management positions encourage leadership,
creative solutions and innovative ideas. Positions include green facility
management, recycling coordinators, sustainability team members, reuse operators
and 100s of other green, clean and well paying jobs.
California Resource Recovery Association, in partnership with Santa Monica City
College, is proud to announce the launch of their “California Works Alliance:
Jobs Through Recycling and Resource Management” Industry Certification program.
This program is valued at over $3000 and will be offered free to qualified
applicants through the grant scholarship program. Learn from the top experts in
