A sheet mulching project is in the finishing stages of completion in Torrance
(South Bay). The homeowner isn't going to sheet mulch the median strips on her
own initiative so there's a lot more cardboard and finely eucalyptus chipped
leaves and branches - now turning into compost - than needed so both materials
are now available for FREE. The neat stack of cardboard is about 4 feet tall by
4 feet wide and 6 to 7 feet long and it's pretty darn clean of staples, tape and
sticky labels. There are about 4.5 cubic yards of eucalyptus tree trimmings.
Please make arrangements directly with the homeowner to pick up material by this
Friday before it rains by calling 310.530.5000 and ask for Joy. Delivery is NOT
an option due to a back injury.
