Hi Rashid,
Maybe this might help. Try searching exactly for what you need, i.e. search
these words, "Industriial Agriculture, Benefits of" or some such similar group
of words. If you want Industrial Agriculture to be found only as just that
two-word duo, then type them with quote marks at each end of the group of words
you want to find in that exact order, i.e. "Industrial Agriculture", then add
'Benefits of' or 'Arguments for' with a comma before Benefits or Arguments...
Another idea might be to review the 100 or 250 word summaries of scholarly
papers. These are called abstracts in academia and elsewhere. You can look up
specific titles or keywords, but since they were often created with the blood,
sweat and tears of graduate students (many are unpaid or supported), the authors
usually want to be reimbursed if you want to read their entire text with full
references/citations.
Another idea might be to use the different search engines and query them beacuse
they might use different algorithms to get their search results. Use Google,
Yahoo, Bing, Dogpile, Alta Vista or others. Change your statement to a question
with Bing, for example. LinkedIn, L.A. Green Drinks and other sites like that
might be helpful to get interviews with experts/knowledgeable folks.
Avoid copying and pasting verbatim. Copiers are relatively easy to out. I used
to do it with students all the time. Just call me. I will help you. I like doing
this stuff. Email me if you need my number. Use dpilien98 at yahoo.com
Towards sustainability,
Best,
Dennis

Subject: [Lapg] Industrial Agriculture Proponents?
I'm writing a research paper on Industrial Agriculture.
I basically have to find and explain intelligent arguments from both sides of
the debate.
There's plenty of intelligent sounding arguments against conventional farming /
industrial agriculture.
But I'm having trouble finding a variety of concrete arguments in favor of
industrial agriculture.
Does anybody know of any credible or semi-credible sources for finding
information or research that supports industrial agriculture??
Thanks
R
