[Lapg] LA High School wanting to do food forest, needs help

I just got this request, but I'm leaving town for several months. Is anybody else interested in helping Diane out, perhaps even going to the school and volunteering or ?  Sounds like an opportunity for LA!

Hi I was just searching for how to grow bananas in L.A. and came upon your article.
I teach science at Los Angeles High school and have been wanting to start something like this for our students. I do not have the same expertise as the Crenshaw expert, however, but am eager to learn and network.
