Come out and play!  Then after, we can go the Edison lounge for my favorite band ever - March 4th Marching Band from Portland.  All good fun. Worth staying out too late for!

"...the greatest change we need to make is from consumption to production, even if on a small scale, in our own gardens. If only 10% of us do this, there is enough for everyone.
Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and shelter."

- Bill Mollison

LOS ANGELES BIONEERS

A REVOLUTION FROM THE HEART OF NATURE
Be sure to check out the notices at the bottom!

Please join Barbara Bosson and Sara Nichols for the next gathering of Los Angeles Bioneers, people dedicated to re-imagining the future of our planet. Bioneers are biological pioneers who are working with nature to heal nature and ourselves.

When

In witnessing countless applications from gardening to architecture to business models, permaculture design combines Joan's appreaciation for practicality with her love of nature. Joan's permaculture skill set is informed by her academic training in ethnobotany, ecology and microbiology. In permaculture, she has studied with the best designers and teachers on the West Coast, including Earthflow Designs and Larry Santoyo, with whom she has been teaching and studying for many years.

Joan has dedicated her life to transforming the relationship that people have to the planet. A high school teacher by day, Joan teaches yoga and permaculture as well. Her mission is to build an Eden on Earth for future generations, a world of renewable home-scale energy systems, rainwater catchment from every roof, edible trees lining our streets, gardens throughout people's yards, and neighbors sharing the fruits of the harvest with each other.
