[Lapg] Transition SFV

A (very) small group of people has been meeting every two weeks or so  
over the past couple of months to explore setting up a Transition  
Initiative here in the San Fernando Valley, linked to the efforts of  
permaculture instructor Rob Hopkins ( http://transitionculture.org/ )  
in England and Transition Los Angeles ( http:// 
transitionla.blogspot.com/ ) in Westchester, as well as a growing  
network of over 200 communities worldwide.

We've got another meeting coming up this Thursday evening, November  
12, in North Hollywood. If you live in the Valley and you've been  
wondering why all the cool permie stuff always seems to happen on the  
other side of the hill, come and help us get something started here.
