you the First Bioneers Beaming Simulcast in the city of Los Angeles.
The Beaming Bioneers program provides a focal point for communities to come together
around local solutions and take action.  LA Beaming Bioneers is choosing to bring
the annual Bioneers Conference to the citizens and organizations of Los Angeles,
 to provide the tools and inspiration to be catalysts for change in their own community.
The LA Beaming Bioneers event will consist of:

Joanna Macy: Author, celebrated Buddhist teacher, eco-philosopher and activist in
the peace, justice, and ecology movements.
Jerome Ringo: President of the Apollo Alliance, and the first African-American to
head a major conservation organization, the National Wildlife Federation.
Sarah James:The
revered Gwich'in Elder from Alaska, who has won many awards for her
work to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from oil drilling,
including the Goldman Environmental Prize, depicts how her people are
being severely impacted on the front lines of rapid climate change, and
how they are responding.
