"We are eight days into a 13-day Permaculture Design Course here at Pine
Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, the home of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
Students from as far away as Florida and California have joined local tribal
members in learning about how to integrate permaculture into their lives,
