Fast growing organic superfood company in business for 7 years needs a friendly, inspired, people loving, proactive sales person who leads a healthy lifestyle to care for our customer base. Approximately 70% of the job is servicing existing accounts (sales and customer service) and 30% is prospecting and cold calling for new accounts. Our customers need a lot of information about our products, such as how they are grown, how they are processed, the farms where the food is sourced from, nutritional information, etc… Previous business-to-business sales experience is required, Another requirement is a high attention to detail so that orders are processed without errors.
We are looking for someone with a passion and excitement for healthy food and healthy living (ideally someone into raw foods, organic food, superfoods), sustainability, fitness and conscious business practices, helping make the earth healthier and our customers healthier every day. Someone who is inspired to help a conscious company grow and make a positive impact on the world.
Our customer are food manufactures, supplement companies, restaurants, natural grocery stores, online retailers, and distributors. We sell everything from individual units (under our own brand and private label) up to full container loads of product.
We are a small company, so we need someone who will wear multiple hats and proactively engage with the tasks at hand and cooperatively interface with a dynamic team to get the job done. Must work extensively with shipping, manufacturing, purchasing, and finance departments.
Skills: Multi tasking, sales, excellent communication skills, primarily verbal Excel, Quickbooks
