Our friends at SPIRIT PINE SANCTUARY, on Figueroa Mountain near Los Olivos,
CA, (north of Santa Barbara) are offering a unique workshop.

 

Simple Shelter

Learn how to build a small structure of salvaged and natural materials

March 14-22, 2009

In this 9-day workshop, a small building will be erected using shipping
pallets and salvaged lumber with an infill wall mixture of clay and straw.
This structure is suitable for storage or as a writer's cabin.  $840
includes hands-on instruction, meals, & camping for registration and
