A Panel Discussion on Sustainable Landscape Strategies
7:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2005.
This discussion is part of an ongoing series of panel discussions sponsored
by Global Green USA's Green Building Resource Center.
Tony Kienitz, Vegetare Edible Landscaping and author of "The Year
I Ate My Yard" will speak about edible landscape.
John Wickham, President of the Board of Directors of the Theodore
Payne Foundation will discuss landscaping with native and drought tolerant
plants.
Larry Santoyo of Earth Flow Design Works, a renowned Permaculture
expert and instructor and the director of the Center of Natural Design, will
speak about the principles of Permaculture-including residential
applications.
Kim O'Cain, Water Resource Specialist for the City of Santa
Monica will give an overview of Santa Monica incentive and grant programs.
