City Repair REMINDER of Upcoming Events

Neighborhood Outreach and Planning Meeting

Wed Jan 5 @ 7:30 pm
LA Eco-Village Lobby - 117 Bimini Pl.

We will first be knocking on doors and continuing to
pass out flyers in the neighborhood. We are
specifically looking for folks who can speak Spanish
and/or Korean.

Thanks Joe and Thiago for doing the flyers (in both
Spanish and Korean too).

There will be a planning meeting and we will be
finalizing the design for the mural.  We will also be
discussing alternative projects in case it rains.

LAEV City Repair Mural Project
Sat Jan 8  10 am - 4 pm
LA Eco-Village (Bimini Pl & White House Intersection)

We will be doing an "intersection repair" project
similar to what's been done in Portland, Oregon (see
cityreapir.org).  We will be painting a mural in the
street, and more.  The mural will celebrate the
diverse cultures and languages and our City of "The
Angels." 

The Project will begin at 10 am, but we will need a
few extra folks to come early and help chalk out the
design on the street.  

If you are interested is helping chalk the design
please come at 9 am.  

**IMPORTANT NOTE: Portions of the intersection will be
closed on Jan 8.  Look for signs!
