This Week: Restoration Ecologist Paul Kephart
On Friday, September 1st, at 9:00 am, PST and on Monday, September 4th, at 12:00 noon PST, Sustainable World is broadcasting an interview with restoration ecologist and resource planner Paul Kephart, Executive Director of Rana Creek Habitat Restoration and Living Architecture. With more than twenty years of consulting experience in land use planning and resource management, Paul Kephart is now one of our country's leading experts in green roofs, living walls, architecture/vegetative structures, sustainable landscapes, and watershed management systems. A trained biologist, Paul is passionately committed to restoring biodiversity in our cities and suburbs.
Paul's work includes the Gap Inc. Headquarters green roof and the California Academy of Sciences at Golden Gate Park's green roof habitat. Paul will be discussing Living Architecture, the return of biodiversity to the urban environment, and how to use Art, Ecology, and Science to "reclaim the sacred land that we level and develop."
