Permaculture Institute of Northern California is forming a new non-profit
called the Regenerative Design Institute in collaboration with the
Institute of Noetic Sciences. This institute will provide new educational
programs located at the beautiful Institute of Noetic Sciences campus and
retreat center in Petaluma California.
This 4, 8 or 12 month hands-on skill based training program is devoted to
helping students develop skills necessary to further sustainable &
regenerative practices in their personal and professional lives. We have a
few spaces left for both the residential and the non-residential programs
which start in mid May.
The Institute of Noetic Sciences is an organization devoted to the inquiry
into the exploration of consciousness, personal & societal transformation,
and health and healing. www.noetic.org
The Regenerative Design Institute is committed to re-establishing a
collaborative connection between humanity and the Earth. RDI is offering a
new model of ecological education & training that creates
multi-disciplinary practitioners skilled in the art and science of
regenerative design as well as construction practices. By providing skilled
educators, designers, farmers, trades-people, facilitators & community
leaders our goal is to spread the awareness that we can design & build
development models worldwide that address humans needs while regenerating
the surrounding environment to become more fertile and diverse in the
process. Achieving this goal requires a new model of education that teaches
skills relevant to the future survival of humanity on the Earth.

research into the profound interrelationships existing in the natural world
as well as learn from the existing research programs on natural healing
currently in existence at the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
Benefits to Students
Students will receive personalized instruction including field trips,
offsite workshops, theory and hands on experience.
We have a global network of affiliated training centers and educational
institutions that can supplement training and education in specific topics

training programs acquire a more holistic education through exposure to a
variety of climates and cultures. College students attending accredited
institution can participate in our trainings and receive credit from the
institution they are attending.
Through our mentoring program we can help a student design their specific
educational path.
RDI's graduates will join a community of inspired leaders with a broad
knowledge of what is possible and practical for transforming cities and
villages into joyous communities that celebrate inter-dependence with one
another and the natural world. By sharing a vision of what is possible and
the practical knowledge of how to create it, RDI's graduates will be
powerful resource for insuring that our collective future can move forward
in a healthy and sustainable way.
Our organization is unique because we are focused on a sustainable "whole
systems" approach to training, education, project design and implementation
and diplomacy. We involve ourselves specifically with projects that invite
our participation thus ensuring community support for our contribution. We
have a proven track record of successfully training community leaders and
developing cross-cultural projects that help heal local economies and
enabling them to thrive.
Graduates of our programs are capable of participating in all phases of
sustainable development & diplomacy at home and abroad. Utilizing our
unique approach of permaculture our graduates are prepared to
