Heirloom seed grower and plant breeder Kevin Akiva Werbalowsky is 

providing a number of learning sessions and apprenticeships for those 

interested in preserving, protecting, and creating valuable maize 

varieties, squash, melon, and other favorite crops. Use of prophylactic 

bags, meticulous timing, and close observation during the pollination 

season is the focus as well as organic practices. Limited numbers of 

people will learn very quickly how and when to do this in hands-on 

activities.


Begins July 20 in Minneapolis area (July 11-20 in California)
