ECOLOGICAL DESIGN: THE UNSTOPPABLE WAVE
A Global Interdisciplinary Conference on the Next Great Wave in
Architecture.
Berkeley-Oakland, California
Thursday-Sunday, August 7-10, 2003.
This is an invitation for proposals for papers and exhibits on research,
education, or practice in ecological architecture.
Topics can include any aspect of sustainability, alternative materials
and energy systems, environmental health, recycled building materials,
bioremediation, permaculture, design education, indigenous and
nature-based architecture.
Proposals are sought from researchers, architects, educators, students and
all others involved in ecological design, engineering, planning, and
construction.
Each proposal should be a brief abstract or summary (no more than one page)
sent as E-mail text, not as attachment.
Include topic/title, description, and complete author contact information.
Multiple proposals are welcome.
Proposals may be for seminar presentations (30 minutes duration),
poster or other displays, or special format presentations.
Accepted presenters will receive a substantial discount on conference
enrollment fees.
Deadline for proposals has been extended to April 25, 2003.
Accepted presenters will be notified no later than May 16, 2003.
