Dear Colleague,

Please join us April 18th-22nd for the eighth annual H.O.P.E.S. conference,
an interdisciplinary ecological design arts conference.  This year's theme
Energizing Potential will be explored in panel discussions, hands-on
workshops, and by several notable keynote speakers including Angela
Danadjieva, Stefan Benisch, John Schaeffer, John Perlin and Rob Pena. We are
also pleased to announce that Michael Moore will be speaking on campus
Sunday evening with the UO Cultural Forum and Laurie Olin will be speaking
Monday evening as part of the John Yeon Lecture Series. This wonderful
student-run conference promises to energize our potential, inspire dialogue
and action.
