SUSTAINABLE LIVING WITH PERMACULTURE DESIGN with Larry and Kathryn Santoyo
SOUTH COAST PERMACULTURE GUILD MEETING SEPT 21 at 6:30 pm food 7:00 pm meeting
"Sustainable Living with Permaculture Design" will be Larry and Kathryn
Santoyo's topic when speaking to the South Coast Permaculture Guild's
monthly meeting on Tuesday September 21. Easy and innovative ideas for
food, water, shelter, and innovative design for home and garden using
permaculture design techniques will be some of the topics covered. A
preview to a two day workshop held in October 16 and 17 will also be
discussed.
Larry Santoyo is an internationally recognized land use planner and
Environmental Business consultant. He has taught environmental design
courses at UC Berkeley and CalPoly/San Luis Obispo. He is among the most
experienced permaculture design instructors in the United States and has
over twenty years experience in resource protection and natural systems
management. Kathryn is a Permaculture Design Course Graduate with ten years
experience as a professional gardener and landscaper. He and his wife
Kathryn own Santoyo & Associates a permaculture land use and teaching firm

The main meeting at 7 pm for the Guild is preceded by an informal seed and
plant exchange, and pizza & salad snack (donation) at 6:30pm. Guild
meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at the CEC Gildea
